The FIMBA GB +45 Men were back on court last weekend for their first training camp of 2024.
Since May 2023, the +40 Women team have been working hard to impress the coaching team and make the final cut for the 2024 international tournaments.
Things are starting to get very competitive and serious amongst the FIMBA GB +50 and +55 Men, who held a joint training session in preparation for the upcoming 2024 FIMBA Basketball European Championship.
On 13/14th January, the FIMBA GB +55 women met up for their last training weekend before finalising the last 3 playing spots available.
The FIMBA GB +35 Women were back at the home court in Leicester last weekend for their first camp including all their National League stars.
The FIMBA GB Forties had their final open training weekend before the squad announcements for the Masters World Cup in Croatia and European Championships in Italy.
Another strong weekend camp for the +35 Women as they decended on Leicester for the penultimate open training camp before final selection in December.
Following the hugely successful Silver and Bronze medal winning +40 Men, the interest in the team and age group has grown so much that the decision was made to add a feeder team, nicknamed the GB Lions.
RAF Cranwell again played host to a joint training camp for the two teams that fully embrace the FIMBA GB ethos of having fun on and off the court.
The FIMBA GB +50 and +55 Men held their penultimate selection training session at the weekend, with some surprising results in the fitness and technical tests.
