The FIMBA GB +45 Brotherhood team got together over the weekend for a two day camp in Leicester.
The session involved coach Greenaway putting the team through a tough training session on the Saturday in readiness for a game on the Sunday.
On Sunday, they played a very good and youthful Leicester Dynamite team littered with good quality national league and local league players. These players included GB Brotherhood player Hilroy Thomas’ two sons who certainly attempted to run us ragid with there young legs. The team acclimatised quite quickly though to the run and gun pace and began to control the game from the second quarter onwards. A fantastic all round team performance saw the GB Brotherhood win out by 12 points in the end with final score of 78 – 66. Coach was very complimentary about the intensity of our performance and he felt there was real growth in our journey to Pesaro.
