+35 Men Nottingham Camp

The squad reassembled over the weekend of 23/24th March in Nottingham, with Coach Sparrowhawk looking to fill 2 vacant slots.

The squad was also joined by a couple of strong new additions, so the session focussed on re-emphasising the set plays, overall team structure, parameters and discipline. Saturday was a mixture of intensely contested games as well as learning new suitable plays for the upcoming games and tournaments.

The squad is bonding well and is showing a positive “together” vibe going forward helped even more by the evening meal, social and discussions! The team are growing in confidence in each other and their team performance.

Paul Sparrowhawk – Head Coach

On Sunday the team played a strong local team – Hyson Green Hustlers – with many of them current or past national league players. Despite it being highly competitive, as it was a friendly, Coach Sparrowhawk was able to rotate not only players including the new team members but also the tactics, systems and plays. Despite losing the game, the positives the team gained are huge, aiding where focus is required on both individual and team strengths and weaknesses.
