There is an exciting opportunity to join the European medal winning, FIMBA GB +35 Women for the 2024 season and beyond.
With two teams entering the World Cup in Croatia and a very strong side picked for the European Championships in Italy, FIMBA GB are taking applications for an assistant coach to support Coach AJ and the team in the quest for more silverware.
Following a successful debut in Malaga 2022, where they picked up the iron medal, Coach AJ and his team backed up that result with a 4th place finish in last year’s World Cup. As the entry age group into masters basketball, the competition for places is intense and as such an assistant coach is required to support with developing the weekend training camps as well as individual training programmes between camps.
The FIMBA GB +35 Women train once a month at their home court in Leicester, with the two tournament dates being as below:-
Masters Basketball World Cup, Croatia – 17-21st April
XII FIMBA European Championships, Italy – 21-30th June
