With the 2026 training camps starting next weekend with the +40 & +45 Men and Wheelchair trials, FIMBA GB have received a record 229 new player registrations so far, bringing our total registered players to over 450. The good news is, there is still time to register.
Following 3 successful years, winning a total of 18 European and World medals, the FIMBA GB Family is expanding once more in 2026, with more training dates added across the 3 home countries and 16 teams competing in the 2026 tournament calendar to ensure everyone get’s an opportunity to try out.

Our teams are a mix of international, professional and local league players so we encourage everyone to apply – this is about representing your country, enjoying the game and being part of a supportive and friendly GB family – don’t sit back and wonder “what if.”
2026 will see both the men’s and women’s categories expanding and the addition of a Wheelchair section. The Women’s category will now run from 35-65+, the Men’s from 35-75+ and the Wheelchair will be mixed to start but looking to expand to +40 and +55 categories in the near future and further age classifications as the global masters wheelchair game develops and expands.
This year FIMBA GB will again be entering the Masters World Cup in Omis, Croatia, where we have already picked up 7 medals, including Gold for the +35 Women and the FIMBA European Championships in Athens, Greece where we have historically performed well, winning 11 medals including Gold for the +70 Men.
