Coach Moult and Assistant Coach Coffey made their final selections for the FIMBA GB o55 Women’s team at this weekend’s training camp in Cambridge.
Heading up the team will be Co-Captains Karen Greene and Helen Mailloux and they were full of praise for their team:-
“We are a team of passionate, determined women who love the game of basketball. We want to keep playing and encouraging each other to stay involved with the game, whilst enjoying every minute, for as long as possible!” said Helen, with Karen adding:-
“An amazing two days of training in Cambridge. Every player who attended clearly stepped their game up. Coach Adrian and Assistant Coach Stu put us through our paces. The team are clearly bonding. I feel so proud to be selected as Co Captain to an amazing group of Women. We welcomed Wendy Mutch to the team and she fitted in well given it was her 1st session. The team now selected, I look forward to supporting my Co-Captain Helen and coaches on our journey to Malaga and representing my country.”
