Ellen’s dedication, enthusiasm and unwavering commitment have made her an indispensable asset to the teams. From organising travel logistics to ensuring that every detail is in place for training camps and international tournaments, her organisational skills and attention to detail are second to none. Ellen’s ability to manage the complexities of a bunch of old men has been instrumental in the smooth functioning of both teams. Ellen doesn’t understand the game and that’s been a bonus as it has allowed her to see things from a fresh perspective and provide insightful support to the coaching staff. Her empathetic nature and open-door policy make her approachable, ensuring that players feel supported both on and off the court. Ellen’s genuine care for the well-being of each team member has significantly enhanced team cohesion and morale.

The FIMBA GB +50 and +55 teams are incredibly fortunate to have Ellen Crowder as their team manager. Dom Short and I are all the better for having her as part of our coaching team and we appreciate her more than she’ll know.
