We are thrilled to announce that Mark Modzelewski, the towering 6’7″ forward, has officially joined the FIMBA GB 55 team.
Mark flew in from the USA and competed for the +50’s mixed team at the Midland Masters and didn’t look out of place and highlighted his commitment and passion for the game.
With a wealth of experience under his belt, Mark has seamlessly integrated into the playing style of the FIMBA GB +55’s. His presence on the court is a game-changer, and his height advantage is sure to bring a new dynamic to the team’s strategy.
Mark is the second player to fly over for a trial and training session and that’s the sort of commitment we are generating for the 50 and 55 teams. He showed great aptitude for the game, his foot speed was superb and he found the open man with ease and fitted into the squad as though he’s been with us for ages rather than hours. Mark’s dedication to basketball knows no bounds and we can’t wait to see him in action, sporting the FIMBA GB colours
