Following the live draw last night, the 16 FIMBA GB teams now know who they will playing in the group stages of the XI FIMBA European Championships in Malaga from 24th June – 3rd July 2022.
Streamed live on the FIMBA YouTube site and hosted by FIMBA Communication Director Franco Zullich, and the general sentiment was one of excitement to finalise the tournament after two years of postponement.
The games will start on Saturday 25th June and all games, times and venues will be confirmed on Monday, June 20th. For the first time in FIMBA history, there will be more than one Ambassador team (non-European) in each age-group.
The Ambassador teams will play for their own final classification, but despite playing the European Teams in the group stages, the results in those games will not affect the final European team classifications.
