FIMBA GB are excited to confirm the o40 Men’s team to take part in the XI European Championships in Malaga 2022.
After a grueling selection schedule, Head Coach Neil “Mac” McElduff has selected the team he thinks will be best placed to compete hard and win at next summer’s tournament. With a mix of National League, BBL, Overseas and International experience, the squad boasts a plethora of MVPs and National Champions and will now focus for the next 6 months on honing their knowledge of each other and the style Coach Mac has chosen for them. Nicknamed the GB Wolfpack, the team already have a great chemistry on and off the court, which will carry them well to Malaga.
Coach Mac will be aided by Assistant Coach, Tim Marchant; Team Manager, Sasha McCarthy and Amanda Sibanda as Head Physio.

Coach Mac commented, “I am really excited with the squad we have put together for the European Championships. We have a very athletic team and we will aim to play positionless basketball and a very up-tempo style. Everyone can handle the ball, everyone can shoot and we can take opponents off the dribble. If we can play aggressive defense and convert defense to offense I think we can do good things. And they are good people too, I’m looking forward to it.”
