Committee member and +40 Women Assistant Coach, Bruce Lauder was invited as a special guest on the UK’s highest ranking basketball podcast.
With nearly 53k streams per month, Talking Basketball is the UK fastest growing basketball podcast. From interviews with players, coaches and back office staff to general basketball discussions and good vibes all-round, Mark and Paul hope to bring a relatable basketball show and conversation to all players young and old.
The show started by covering local league teams in Portsmouth in United Kingdom. Our conversations with Fury, Force and Solent have led to international shows and we’re proud to now include the UK’s BBL, FIBA NBA and FIMBA topics.

Bruce also added his own experience of putting on the Great Britain jersey for the first time, making his first shot, winning international medals and water aerobics with the GB Wolfpack! He also speaks of the passion and hard work of the many volunteers within the organisation that goes in to creating the pride and family feel of being part of FIMBA GB and the difficulties in finding funding to ensure everyone who earns it has the opportunity to represent their country.
