The FIMBA GB +55 Men are thrilled to announce the addition of the illustrious Sports Therapist, Laura Jane Wyatt, to their team for the upcoming series of tournaments.
With over 15 years of experience in Fitness and Sports Therapy, Laura brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in Injury and Maintenance Therapy. Her renowned practice, LJW Sports and Injury Clinic based in Northampton, is a testament to her dedication and skill. Laura’s passion for sports is evident through her completing nine high-peak marathons in under four hours. She also works with elite athletes, including Olympians such as Derek Redmond, further showcasing her exceptional capabilities.
The FIMBA GB +50 and +55 Men’s teams are set to benefit immensely from Laura’s presence at the World Championships, where she will provide essential sports massages and therapy.
Laura’s experience and knowledge have been a tremendous asset to the +55’s and +50 programmes. She has expertly advised on optimizing player performance, selecting the right fitness tests and drills, and ensuring the players receive the necessary recovery during the rigours of competition.”

Joining forces with Physiotherapist Jan Chui, Laura will be an integral part of the medical team for the “fifties,” with her expertise also available to other teams within the FIMBA GB family.
