The FIMBA GB +55 Women welcomed a new face to training at the weekend as Chartered Physiotherapist, Martin Haines, started his FIMBA GB journey with them.
Martin brings a huge amount of professional sports experience with him, having worked at the highest level in Football, International Rugby, Formula 1 and Boxing as well as working with 5 Olympic Champions.
In his personal life, Martin is an accomplished author and has had his work presented at scientific congresses across the world, including the IOC (International Olympic Committee) World Congress on on illness and injury in sport. He is also a former Honorary Senior Lecturer at Salford University.
FIMBA GB, and especially the +55 Women, are very fortunate to have such a highly experienced and skilled professional within our team and we all look forward to working closer with him throughout the journey.
