The FIMBA GB +55 Men’s team is proud to announce the signing of two exceptional talents, Power Forward Donald Wasterfall and Forward Torsten Lauschmann, as they bolster their roster for the upcoming competitions.
Donald Wasterfall, known for his deadly, silent assassin game, is a formidable presence on the court. With an incredible ability to work hard in the paint, Wasterfall brings an exceptional basketball IQ that belies his age. His strategic play and keen understanding of the game make him a critical addition to the team, expected to drive performance and deliver results when it matters most.
Joining Wasterfall is Torsten Lauschmann, an all-action rebounding machine with lightning-fast hands. Lauschmann’s depth of knowledge in the Forward position and his relentless energy on the court make him an invaluable asset. His ability to dominate the boards and provide defensive stability is set to significantly enhance the team’s dynamics.
We spotted Donald playing at the GB Masters in Sheffield and instantly recognised his ability to make an impact. He thinks, plans and execute well and uses his experience to get into the right spots to make important moves. Torsten came down from Scotland to the Oxford training session and we knew nothing about him, until we scrimmaged and we had to have him as part of the squad. His range of movement and aerial ability belies his age and he will be another major asset in the front court
Both players bring a wealth of experience, skill, and dedication, adding to the strength and depth of the FIMBA GB M55 team. The coaching staff and teammates are excited to integrate their talents and look forward to a successful season ahead.
