We are thrilled to announce that FIMBA GB +50Men Assistant Coach Mark Taylor has been appointed as the new Head Coach of the FIMBA GB +50 Men’s team.
With a wealth of experience, Taylor is set to guide the +50 Men on their journey through two prestigious tournaments – the Masters World Cup in Croatia and the World Championships in Switzerland.
His strategic vision, dedication and passion for the sport make him the ideal candidate to take the team to new heights. He has been involved from the start of the campaign and has adopted a lot of the ethos and principles set out and moulded a few of his own ideas into the system and they work seamlessly. I would also like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dom Short, who has played a massive and an integral role in the team’s journey as Head Coach. Dom’s contributions have been invaluable, and his impact on the team will not be forgotten. We wish him every success as he embarks on an exciting new chapter in New Zealand, where he will continue to shape the next generation of players as a teacher and coach.
Des Williams, International Head Coach
As we look ahead to these major competitions, the FIMBA GB +50 Men’s team is ready to embrace this new era under Mark Taylor’s leadership. Let’s rally behind the team and show our support as they strive for excellence on the world stage. Go FIMBA GB!
