Following their 8th place finish in the European Championships, the FIMBA GB +40 Women were back on court at the weekend.
The session, which took place in Altringham, Manchester, saw some new faces join the group as well as a couple of the +35 and +45 Women. Following a couple of months break after the Malaga tournament, the initial open session was a chance to blow out the cobwebs and start working together as a team to improve.
It was so nice to be back on the court and to welcome some new players! We are excited to strengthen the team and build on the solid foundation that we have been working on over the last 12 months. Malaga really showed that with a few more key players and more time together, we can be a real force in the +40 category!
