We are looking to attract the best British talent available to join our successful teams and win medals at European and World Championships. Our current teams are a mix of International, Professional, Amateur and Local League players from all walks of life and backgrounds.

  • Be eligible to play for Great Britain (hold a British passport or be a foreign national with settled status or leave to remain)
  • Uphold the FIMBA GB Values
  • Understand the privilege of representing your country
  • Promote FIMBA GB
  • Put maximum effort and perform at the highest level in training and games
  • Put the team above individual
  • Attend all training camps
  • Be available for selection for all tournaments
  • Once selected to a squad, you must be fully committed to that team
  • Work hard on your skill development between training camps
  • Keep fit and healthy
  • Respect local laws and cultures when playing abroad
  • Be prepared to self-fund training and tournaments (although we are always adding more partners to support financially)

In return, FIMBA GB will:-

  • Provide you an opportunity to continue playing at international level at all age groups from 35 to 70+
  • Support your development to join teams or progress through the age groups
  • Create the the best on-court and off-court experience, ensuring you compete hard but have a lot of fun on the way
  • Create a close community across the FIMBA GB age groups
  • Give you the opportunity to train and play with other FIMBA organisations across the world
  • Provide a platform for you to keep playing and helping you find local masters playing opportunities if you are not selected to the GB teams
  • Keep you playing and supporting your mental, physical and social wellbeing
  • Provide you with strength, conditioning, nutrition and training ideas to work on between camps to help you be the best you can be
  • Support you with exercises to aid any injury rehab
