The FIMBA GB o40 Women had their latest training session in Ellesmere Port Sports Village at the weekend.
Under the watchful eye of Coach Burton, the ladies continued their development and preparing for their warmup tournaments before the big dance in Malaga in less than 60 days
I’m so pleased with how this team has come together and bonded so quickly. We’ve used our training with Coach Burton to work on developing our offences and our defence, which in my opinion, is our strength. The team is made up of a great group of women who are like-minded, work hard, and most importantly, play for each other. I can’t wait to compete with this group this season and beyond.

I’m happy to report that preparations for Malaga are going well. We have been able to train regularly and are looking forward to going to masters events in Dublin and Newcastle as preparation for the main event, the European Championships at the end of June.
