FIMBA GB +35 Camp Report

Crawley was the venue for the next step of the Bronze medal winning FIMBA GB +35 Men training, working towards the European Championships in Italy next summer.

The group were also joined by some +40 players who have moved up in age group since Malaga and are looking for their next option in their FIMAB GB journey.

The camp was an important step to further integrate some of the newer faces to the group. We are blessed to work with individuals who have all bought in to each other as teammates and into the goals of the team as a whole.
We put the squad through their paces, working them hard and taking some time to live-play some offensive sets.
This group is a joy to work with as they work tooth and nail every time we hit the floor. Paul and I are excited to see the group progress.

Those players who have turned 40, had a first outing at the GB Masters in Norwich and are working to either make it in to the FIMAB GB +40 team or to create a local Masters team. They are looking to continue to build on the foundations put in place in Norwich. The guys have grown immensely together in a short period of time and this camp was a great chance to work on a number of different aspects. They worked hard on some station work in combination with some situational play, furthering our understanding of what it is we want to achieve as a group. The squad is shaping up well and the new faces added real value to an exciting existing crop of players. The next camp can’t come around quick enough as they are all chomping at the bit for more.
