Birmingham Hosts Successful Men’s Camp

The Nechells Wellbeing Centre in Birmingham hosted 3 FIMBA GB Men’s teams as they continue their open sessions.

Following their Bronze medal in the European Championships, the +35 Men welcomed several returning players and some new additions to the squad as they started working towards their 2023 International tournament calendar.

Coach Sparrowhawk returns as head coach and was delighted with his first session back:-

In the first open session since Malaga, I was pleased to see new players bringing high energy, whilst returning members were showing the required intensity and focus to build on towards the team philosophies and ethos we will need in future tournaments.

Coach Paul Sparrowhawk – FIMBA GB +35 Men

Also attending were the +50 and +55 Men, with Des Williams moving from a playing role in Malaga to a new Coaching Role with the +50 Men. He was also pleased with his first session in charge:-

Great open session to start the campaign and everyone got through the session unscathed. The hard work starts now as we build the squad.

Coach Des Williams – FIMBA GB +50 Men
