The FIMBA GB +40 Women are hosting trials this weekend in Nottingham to find the best British talent to take to the European Championships in Italy next summer.
Since the appointment of a new coaching team, the FIMBA GB +40 Women have made huge strides forward on court and will be heading to Italy with medal ambitions.
I was always excited as a player when trials came along – the opportunity to push myself against new players – and this is a great opportunity to join a fantastic organisation and achieve something special. We have a really good core group of players who are improving with every session, I’m looking forward to confirming some places and adding some new faces to this incredible group.Bruce Lauder – Assistant Coach, FIMBA GB +40 Women
The weekend camp will be a good opportunity for Head Coach, Tony Harrison, to discuss his coaching philosophy and his ambitions for the team, as well as take a closer look at his current players and any potential new players who may be interested in representing their country on the international stage.
The trials are open to anyone who turns 40 years old by December 31st 2024 and take place at:-
