The o35 Men’s team were in Birmingham last weekend for their latest camp as Coach Sparrowhawk looks to make his team selections, with FIMBA GB sending two o35 teams to Malaga.
Coach Sparrowhawk commented, “The Over 35’s are going really well, we have a very strong bond within the teams, and we are steadily growing. The team chemistry is good, we have got the offences and technical down now and the skill set is there. We are now working on learning to play together as a team and build on it.
Today’s session was excellent, we did some repetitive shooting to start with, we spent a lot of time running rather than doing drills and the intensity picked up a lot towards the end and I am walking away smiling.
In terms of looking forward to Malaga in June, I am really excited, I can’t wait, and the guys are the same. The group chat is non-stop about the tournament, and we are all buzzing about it. “
