A group of as many as 50 men arrived at Hinchinbrook School in Huntingdon for the over 40/45 trials for FIMBA GB. The trials were to select going forward a squad of about 16/18. Some intense drills and games were held and every one knew they had been balling.
At the end of the session, we had a high number to move forward into the coming months training ready for tournaments ahead.

12-2pm over 40s men were put through their paces looking to get some good work in and the sense to the group that they would be fighting for their place going forward to represent the FIMBA GB over 40s men. The captain of the group Benjamin Coy lead the group into the understanding of what they needed to do going forward.
The session once again was very hard fought but fairly contested. With the squad down to a manageable amount, some good work will begin to happen.
2-4pm the over 45 men still being an open group will gradual and steadily be cut down to a manageable size. The enthusiasm is clear to see what with the FIMBA GB name and the tournaments upcoming are proving a huge draw.
Over 20 guys trained hard and competitively and the desire to progress could be seen by all. Next month will see a more stabled group with the selection process being administered to get a manageable squad.
